Great Service. Swap us for a colder room when we need it. Friendly staff help us to find the location we want to look for. Nice and quiet in room with occasional fire station siren closeby.

I don't understand how this hotel has received such good scores.
The room I had was extremely small, very dated and not that clean.
Had real issue with the shower flooding the bathroom!
Also room service is only available between 5pm and 9pm (or thereabouts) which is not good for business travellers.
Given all that, I wouldn't say it was value for money.
On the flipside the location is fantastic - easy to get around city and also find taxis.

Castlereagh Boutique Hotel Sydney is located at the heart of Sydney. All amenities and attracktions are near-by and walkable distance. Stuff were very helpful and supportive. Continental breakfast is good. Facilities were excellent. Only point to be noted, I believe is the size of the room is small for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Ohterwise it is the best place to live.

We found the hotel clean and comfortable (except the bed which was hard). Our biggest problem was the air conditioning which didn't work so it was very stuffy and overly warm during the night.

Small rooms but very central to Sydney's shopping, theaters and sights. Second time we have stayed there because it is so convenient. Walk from the station, walk to Chinatown, walk to Art Gallery and Hyde Park. Pleasant ambiance.
