No air conditioning or even a fan and as we were on the 9th level, the window was only able to be opened about 15 cm. There was mould in the bathroom and the shower water temperature either scaled you or froze you. We were very disappointed with the room because the location was great - easy walking distance to restaurants, markets, shops, waterfront. Well served by busese.

Hotel is in a great location in city, car parking is limited so be early. Bathroom very small, large people would have a problem. Breakfast very good and dinner at night very good and well priced.

I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay close to the city , Salamanca markets and waterfront. This is a recently refurbished place. A great breakfast. Room was very nice and extremely clean. Definate value for money for short stays in Hobart.

The process for 'knowing if rooms were satisfactory did not work! The bathroom basin was blocked. We were told to go and 'buy a showercap'. Electrical leads were out of test. The main light in the room did not work and was reluctantly replaced. The windows sealed so badly that the pedestrian light signals cold be heard all night on the 8th floor. The bathroom drains smelt of stale water. Generally it was a disappointment.

Very Noisy from passing traffic.
No information pack in room, found breakfast discount voucher misleading.
They forgot ot clean the room, make the bed, change towels etc.
